I just find it ironic that you people come out of the woodwork to whine about lore and culture in a fucking fantasy game. You’re the same people that whined about the little mermaid or Helen of Troy being black but bet you were nowhere to be found when Scarjo was cast in Ghost of the Shell or when Depp played Tonto in the Lone Ranger.

I agree that the face model was a downgrade in quality but not because it looks more Asian which was the original statement by the OP. Then you came in pushing up your glasses being the “well actually…” police. Where are your complaints that they didn’t have talking hands in Arthurian lore? Or any other multitude of things this game has shown? Nope, the only problem is the main character looks slightly Asian that ruins the lore and culture while you grasp at your pearls saying “what about the Celts?!” Get a grip dude. You clearly have a prejudice or some sort of unconscious bias.

And just so we’re clear, while I can see the new face model has some Asian characteristics, I don’t think she looks *that* Asian. But honestly I wouldn’t care if she did anyway. I just want hot and cool looking characters. Couldn’t care less what they’re *supposed* to look like in a fantasy game that is, at best, very loosely based on Arthurian mythology.

It’s also stated that this game intertwined with modern day London. How do we know that Gwendolyn isn’t from that reality? Or maybe she comes from the mythical land of Avalon which is also said to be apart of this game.

Yeah I know her character’s name (Gwendolyn being her name as like you said a representation of Guinevere) and that it’s set in London. But I also know it’s a totally made up fantasy world made by a Chinese dev studio so I doubt cultural appearance of the MC is really that important lol. Also I’m willing to bet you could find an as Asian looking person in London named Gwendolyn or maybe Gwen so not really sure what your point is.

@yhyim This is absolutely stunning! If they stick with the child like appearance, I’m glad I play on PC where I can mod her to not look like a child. Would love to have something similar to this so here’s hoping you learn how to become a modder by then lol
