Very hilarious that the two new Harry Potter projects are a film series where the good guys make sure the Holocaust happens and a video game where you fight an oppressed race demanding equal rights
@Monaldstro@quinnthegm I’m definitely sympathetic with the need to consolidate characters, but in that case why wouldn’t the solution be to discard Rhaena and keep Nettles? Rhaena has no role in the Dance while Nettles has both a very large role in the story and in the worldbuilding/lore.
@ohnoconsequence Imagine Tyrion finds it and that’s where he finally finds Tysha except it’s just the still-life version of her created from Tyrion’s memories
@GhidorahJoe Soul King has been extremely bad with shipping though, with many customers (me included) ordering 4+ months ago and still not receiving it
@pokememesy Exactly, Krakoa only works as the final answer, both because 1) it’s the compromise between Xavier and Magneto’s ideals, 2) it’s ALL the heroes and villains coming together, and 3) the Moira X twist implies everything that came before was instrumental in leading to this.
@thelaughinstorm think Edric will die in the Long Night and Gendry will be raised as the legitimized Storm Lord in the end. The perfect, privileged princelings die, and the cripples, bastards, and broken things are left behind after the fight to rebuild Westeros. (2/2)
@thelaughinstorm I can very much buy that Varys (who is from Lys) will work to bring Edric back and present him to fAegon to be legitimized and become his Storm Lord. Edric and fAegon both have the same kind of privileged background that Westeros would find easy to accept. And I also (1/2)
@bladeburst16@princessxemnas My impression is he’s exploring Scala to look for something, not that he’s hiding. It looks like he’s using the chandeliers to jump to that second story area.
@counting_cosmos KH1 is easily the best paced of all the games but KH2 glazers will just point to the Battle of 1000 Heartless like it cured cancer while ignoring that 80% of that game’s Disney worlds were practically filler
@kijuler Pretty sure Nomura’s even said the only worlds that had restrictions were the Pixar ones where they were told they HAD to make an original story. Every other Disney world had a big issue with just repeating the movie plot, and it’s not like Arendelle was a unique case.
@Keitsune_@NoEndZone2 Such a galaxy-brained line that kinda changed X-fandom a bit, like I hope it gets codified in canon and you get a lil writing credit
One year has passed since my favorite episode of House of the Dragon, and my third(?) favorite episode of all ASOIAF television adaptation - “Rhaenyra the Cruel”.
@visenfer It’s probably to mean “the blood of House Targaryen which includes these people” but it’s lowkey funnier if Daenerys knew she wasn’t descended from Maegor but decided to say it anyway because Maegor the Cruel is the most threatening name any Targaryen king ever had
@DanArndtWrites Feel like the much more obvious similarity would be that, like Monet, Rogue also went through a traumatic time in a mutant prison when she was implied to be sexually assaulted in Genosha—more so than being “bound by the power to shatter mountains”—but that exposes how ooc this is
