Some people seem to completely misunderstand what I’m doing here.

I’m not posting about addiction, weakness, sobriety, temptation, or obedience because I’m obsessed with myself. I’m talking openly about those things because there are countless people silently drowning in shame, addiction, relapse, isolation, and hopelessness who need to know they are not alone and that God’s grace is still sufficient in the middle of the fight.

Ministry is not pretending you’ve never struggled. Ministry is pointing people to Christ honestly, including through your own failures, repentance, and dependence on Him.

If all you see when someone shares about sobriety, repentance, and trying to get back up is “narcissism,” then maybe take a moment to ask yourself why vulnerability, accountability, and testimony bother you so much.

My goal has never been “look at me.” My goal is and always will be helping people find freedom through obedience to Christ.
