As the dean of the NSU @NSUMDCollege College of Allopathic Medicine, I am working to build a medical school that better addresses our society's health needs.
I have great news to share. The LCME has granted “provisional accreditation” to the NSU MD College. I am so excited about the progress of our program and wanted to acknowledge the hard work of our faculty and staff to achieve this milestone in midst a pandemic. Thank you !
Outlook MyAnalytics reminded me today that we just welcomed our third MD class, accepted a new cohort of Master's degree students, and just went through an LCME accreditation visit - all during Covid-19. Great progress! Thanks to such dedicated faculty!
@DavidWuBaruch I wish you all the best for this new chapter of your distinguished career. I am certain you will bring Baruch to a new level of excellence never seen before. Congratulations!
@vivek_murthy Durian, easy. Thanks for providing a moral compass for all of us in this situation where politics and population health often intercollide.
Great news for our students! Our NSU MD College will resume in-person classes in July 2020 taking into account the proper use of physical distancing, face coverings, and other safety protocols. Excited to have you back! Fins Up!
Please have a look and see our school's current recommendations for a safe return to on-campus medical education. It's time to prepare for the new post-Covid normal.

We are excited about our recent publication on the innovative design driving the creation of our new NSU MD Medical School. The paper outlines our medical school's path toward accreditation and describes solutions toward sustainability. https://t.co/qWQQfJ1Lbs
The LCME Secretariat informed me that the Board accepted our provisional accreditation application and recommended an on-site visit in May. Accreditation is truly an institution-wide effort and we are grateful for the commitment/support of our leadership, students and affiliates.
