DEER CAMP 86’ (2024): Horror / Comedy with a “message”. When 5 guys go hunting & a local Native American woman is murdered a spirit is awakened and seeks revenge. First time I’ve ever seen a tick removed from a guys balls in a movie.

JAMES SPADER: CRASH (1997) SECRETARY (2002)

Two challenging characters played by Spader. Far from the snotty rich kid in Pretty in Pink. Spader trounced getting pigeonholed by playing a man sexually aroused by car crashes & a lawyer who has a sadomasochistic with his employee.

CARVED (2024): Horror comedy set in the early 90s. Like the Toxic Avenger, our killer pumpkin is the product of an awful chemical spill. Unlike the Avenger, this pumpkin is seeking revenge on all those that have carved one. Great practical FX.

POSSUM (2018): This is NOT a horror film! It’s a surreal visual experience depicting the horror of trauma. Incredible cinematography, with almost every frame a stand alone work of art. Go along for the ride, this film will haunt you. Masterpiece.

FOLLOWERS (2024): You won’t care that this narcissistic influencer is the target of a wolf pack of incels that plots revenge for her friend killing one of them. The real horror is how exposed we are on social media, especially when you don’t really know who’s watching you.

HAUNT (2019): What could go wrong when 5 friends give up their cell phones, sign a waiver and enter an “extreme” haunted house attraction?
