When I was commissioned, the first thing I was told was that armed forces are not merely a job but a way of life. This always remained at the back of my mind until I took premature retirement. I am extremely happy to see the Air Force Chief sending the right message. Don't stop living. India on social media is obsessed with a motivated agenda,the colonial past. I would like to draw everyone's attention to the Battle of Arcot between the East India Company and Chanda Sahib. Robert Clive had roughly 200 English troops and 300 sepoys, but well-trained. Chanda Sahib had more than 10000 troops and some French elements as well. Those 500 well-trained,ably led, and highly motivated soldiers defeated an army of 10000. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the colonial legacy that your armed forces uphold: professionalism and progression. We follow a western system where it suits us; culturally, the armed forces are more rooted in Indian essence than any of those crook politicians who send their children abroad,live modern lives with western standards, and are corrupt,whereas the armed forces always have India first in their hearts and minds. The two chiefs,Air Marshal Amar Preet Singh and Army Chief Gen Seth, are making absolutely right noises. More power to them.

Very well expressed, sir. The Indian soldier is the most exemplary individual, committed to defending the country to the last breath. One of a leader's most crucial qualities is communication, and when coupled with noble intentions, it leaves an indelible mark for posterity. The COAS appeared honest, demonstrating that his words and intentions are aligned. Gen Seth exemplifies this perfectly. Lance Naik Meenatchi Sundaram is one of them. 🇮🇳🫡

In a counter-terrorist operation in Kulgam, Jammu & Kashmir on December 19, 2024, Lance Naik Meenatchi Sundaram displayed extraordinary courage in the face of extreme danger.

During the operation, he sustained severe gunsh0t wounds to his face and shoulder.

For most people, that would have been the end of the fight.

For him, it wasn't.

Despite his injuries, he continued engaging the terrorists with remarkable determination and battlefield courage.

His actions led to the elimination of a terrorist and played a crucial role in ensuring the safety of his fellow soldiers and the success of the mission.

For this exceptional act of gallantry, President Droupadi Murmu conferred upon him the Kirti Chakra, one of India's highest peacetime gallantry awards.

The honor recognizes not only bravery under fire but also the spirit of selfless service that defines the finest traditions of the Indian Army.

Stories like his remind us that courage is not the absence of fear.

It is the decision to continue moving forward despite pain, danger, and uncertainty.

A grateful nation salutes Lance Naik Meenatchi Sundaram for his sacrifice, devotion to duty, and unwavering commitment to protecting Bharat.
