What a travel eSIM actually costs.
Japan, 10GB for 30 days: $13.99, so $1.40 per GB (checked Oct 3).
Simple trick: divide the price by the GB. It's the fairest way to compare eSIM plans. We show it on every plan, 190+ destinations.
@anurag11820@Airtel_Presence@airtelindia While you wait on Airtel: check that the eSIM line has data roaming on and is set as your mobile data line, then toggle airplane mode or pick a UAE network manually (e& or du). If the roaming pack isn't active on the number, settings won't fix it, so confirm that with them too.
@KORETranslate Sa Pa is worth the extra fitness work! Signal can drop on the trails between villages, so download offline Google Maps for the area before you head up. Smaller homestays and stalls up there often prefer cash, too.
@_littlemisstina Have the best trip! One thing that saves your first hour: install your travel eSIM on Wi-Fi before you fly, then just switch it on when you land. If your phone supports it, add a Suica to your wallet too. Trains and konbini get a lot easier.
@REAPER620dr Phones bought through Cricket are often carrier-locked, and a locked phone won't take another carrier's eSIM even if the hardware supports it. Ask Cricket for an unlock (eligibility usually depends on how long the line's been active). Worth calling today, before Saturday.
Vai pra Portugal? 20 GB / 30 dias por US$ 10,53 (US$ 0,53/GB), nas redes Vodafone e NOS, com hotspot incluído pra rotear pro notebook. Viagem curta? 5 GB sai US$ 6,99. Quantos dias de viagem? Responde aqui que a gente sugere o tamanho. Preço conferido em 15/10.
@techonmytech@MichaelBibi1 Enjoy London! Contactless cards and phones work on the Tube and buses, so your phone ends up doing a lot. A modest data plan and a charger cover most of the weekend.
@leahhancoxugc Enjoy Madrid! Download the offline area in Google Maps before you land — cheap insurance when signal drops in the metro or older buildings.
Stockholm trip? Sweden 5GB / 30 days is $6.99 ($1.40/GB) on 3, Telia and Telenor. Need less? 3GB is $4.99. Heavier use: 20GB is $10.54 ($0.53/GB). Data-only, so your number and WhatsApp stay as they are. Checked Oct 15.
@JoLeJKR38 Have fun in Thailand! Grab and Bolt both need data at the curb, so sort connection on the phone you're actually flying with before landing — even an older unlocked phone works with eSIM.
@sagkoli Enjoy Japan and Korea. Before Seoul: grab Naver Map or Kakao Map — Google Maps directions are limited there, and you'll want a working map the minute you land.
