Today, I personally met the MD of TASMAC and strongly represented the concerns of the people of Maduravoyal constituency regarding TASMAC outlets causing nuisance and disturbance to residential neighbourhoods.

A list of priority shops identified based on repeated public complaints was formally submitted during the meeting. The MD has assured that our representation will be considered seriously and that necessary action will be initiated at the earliest.

We remain committed to safeguarding public welfare and ensuring a safer and more peaceful environment for residents.

Reminder- If you’re starting up, keep the team small for as long as possible. A few solid engineers, designers, and people who can tell a story are enough to win. More employees create power games & gossip shops you can’t control. Build products customers genuinely need that make them a paying hostage. Don’t chase investors. They will chase you if you get the above right. Avoid stupid PR tactics like paying influencers to talk about you. Faking things will hurt more. Build your own distribution and own your narrative. That’s a moat money can’t buy. Conferences are overrated and networking is mostly noise. Buy books for your team and meet their families. They won’t remember team parties , but they’ll remember being respected. Most startup metrics are created by people who’ve never built anything meaningful. Real builders are obsessed with making profits and get depressed when they loose money. Don’t follow investor trends and projections. If they knew so much, they should have built it. Don’t waste time posting AI slops and your picture sitting with a cofee. You look dumb. But no one will tell you this. Build something so good that others point to it for inspiration.

VIDEO | The youngest MLA elect, Rhevanth Charan, assures to work for the people of Chennai's Maduravoyal constituency, where he posed his victory against DMK's K Ganapathy, who was the sitting MLA.

Charan managed to win by a margin of 61,509 votes.

Having elected as the youngest MLA, he promised to make the city clean and create a good impression to those who enter the city from other states, as Maduravoyal is situated as the city's border.

"Maduravoyal constituency is the gateway to Chennai. When you come from Bengaluru or other parts of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, you cross Maduravoyal to enter the city. So I want it to have clean and proper infrastructure. I want the first impression of Chennai to be very positive for people entering our beautiful city," he said.

"Apart from that, there are many issues regarding property tax, water and sewerage tax, patta-related issues, and several other matters that need to be addressed in due course," he added.

Responding to a question on people welcoming new entrants to politics, he said that the citizens were frustrated with the Dravidian parties' decades-long rule, paving way for a strong leadership like Vijay.

"People are extremely tired and frustrated with Dravidian rule over the past several decades. They want change. They want a prominent leader who can stand tall, remain strong, and fight for the rights of the people of the state. The only alternative with that ability and capability is our leader, Thalaivar Vijay. Rightly so, they have elected him. We are looking forward to serving the people along with our other candidates under the leadership of our Chief Minister, Thalaivar Vijay," he said.

TVK's @rhevanth95 will take on the DMK's sitting MLA K. Ganapathy in Maduravoyal. It is a swing seat (both ADMK and DMK won from here in the previous elections).

Maduravoyal has a massive concentration of Thalapathy Fan Clubs. In 2021, the MNM (Padma Priya) secured a massive 33,000+ votes (12%) here. If TVK can capture that "Alternative" vote plus the core Vijay fan base, the math becomes very dangerous for the DMK.

Unlike his opponents, Rhevanth doesn't carry the "incumbency baggage." This area (including Vanagaram, Nolambur, and Porur) is notorious for traffic congestion, poor sewage, and "dust bowl" roads. Rhevanth is expected to campaign heavily on these "unmet promises" of the last 10 years.
