Tweeting this to keep reminding my self my resolution’s for this year.
Shall mention them in the order of their completion. #HappyNew2020#resolutions2020
Australia lost a tight game at @OptusStadium. An hour later they were having beers & chilling at the Camfield bar nearby.
There is no comparison with the pressure Indian team faces of winning & surviving.
Australians win because they care about winning but don’t mind losing.
I can’t believe this day has come!
I come from the 1990s when empty roads told you @sachin_rt was batting.
Even before asking the score people asked ‘Sachin khel raha hai kya?’
TVs were shut down when he got out.
The sounds of Sachin Sachin reverberated across every stadiums louder than what Dhoni has ever heard.
In 1999 a stadium had to be emptied because people rioted that their hero was given run out incorrectly.
Everytime Sachin boarded a flight there were chants of Sachin… Sachin!
@msdhoni is loved by half the country like crazy and hated by the other half. (Stat padding, Riddhi sports, CSK fixing, Amrapali etc.) but
Sachin was loved by everyone! Every single person I knew grew up with a poster of Sachin on their wall.
And right from Kohli to me, everyone picked up a Cricket bat hoping to play for India when he stormed Sharjah during Desert Storm.
No one has ever come close. No one ever will!
THREAD
Of fluctuating fortunes, fragile friendships and the worst of media
This is a photo of Adam Gilchrist after scoring a Test ton. Doesn't look like much of a celebration and, in his own words, this was the first time he cried on a cricket field. But why? There's a story.
My sister runs a small business and she made this huge mistake of trusting @ShiprocketIndia. Here is how their greed and fraud is destroying small businesses.
My sister used Shiprocket for the first time to deliver a TV from Delhi to Bhopal. They Stole the TV! 🧵
@HRguyAmit Gain is a state of mind here and depends on what you cherish? Coffee or Be able to drop your kid to school as you don’t have to rush to work.
Looking at the number of startups coming out of BITS, I firmly believe other Engineering colleges should learn from it and remove that stupid 75% attendance policy.
@HRguyAmit From what I have gathered:
1. This is not a burning issue
2. No revenue gains
3. Yet to realize the benefits apart from optics
4. Complexity involved in solving for key use cases.
Customer bots are getting better since all above points are glaring.
