See what was the question to Indira and what she replies
Quote
Question: Why then was it necessary to imprison Mr. Morarji Desai, who then became Prime Minister of India? Was he an economic threat to the state?
Indira Gandhi: No, these were the people who were destroying democracy.
Question: Destroying democracy?
Indira Gandhi: Destroying democracy.
Question: How?
Indira Gandhi: Because, well, I'm sorry that you people have such short memories, but because they felt they could not win an election, they said, we must take the battle to the streets. Mr. Morarji Desai is on record in an interview having said, we are going to surround the Prime Minister's house, we are going to surround Parliament, we will see that no business is done. The Prime Minister cannot come out, nobody can go in. Another member of the opposition, now a minister, said that if we cannot win by the ballot, we shall win by the bullet. Somebody else incited the police and the army not to obey.
Question: Disobey illegal orders... why couldn't you have taken, why, could I just ask you, why couldn't you have used the law that you already had available to you to arrest these people if they were breaking the law?
Indira Gandhi: I'm afraid, you see, India is not a small country like the UK. It is a very big country and very complex problems. And in the whole country, they had created an atmosphere of extreme indiscipline, so that somebody like Mr. Galbraith said, it seems to be a functioning anarchy, but it was not functioning, it was becoming a non-functioning anarchy. And at that moment, if we had not stopped it, India would not have survived.

If Rahul accepts, as he has to, his grandma Indira's logic, he has to offer himself for arrest.

π’ Update from Gujarat High Court β CAAS Writ Petition
When other petitions asked only for extension of dates, CAAS stood firm on a broader principle:
βοΈ Taxpayers should not bear the burden of Govtβs machinery failures.
Adv (Dr.) CA Avinash Poddar argued:
πΉ Utilities are delayed every year since 2015, despite Court directions.
πΉ Portal glitches cripple compliance; advance tax too was hit this year.
πΉ Citizens deserve the full statutory 182 days β not last-minute anxiety.
πΉ Extension is just one interim prayer; the real fight is for accountability & systemic correction.
The Honβble Bench pulled up CBDT:
β Why issue extension circulars on the last day, causing harassment?
β Why ignore the 1-month statutory gap between TAR & ITR?
β Why wait until Courts force action instead of proactive governance?
π Matter now posted for further hearing on 6th October 2025.

@IncomeTaxIndia@nsitharamanoffc@officeofPCM@FinMinIndia@PIB_India@MIB_India Obviously you should thank the Taxpayers and the Professionals who inspite of such useless portal are able to file 6 crore returns. It should be made mandatory that Returns of all ITD and Fin Ministry should be filed on last three days then only you will know the reality.
@akhilpachori Why did you try to go to AIS and TIS in the last days of filing. We should plan our work well in advance. Even ITD extended the due date well before the starting of the season itself knowing how many issues they have with the website.
@akhilpachori Additionally they say its a planned maintenance. If the plan was communicated to us also earlier then we could also have planned our work.
@IncomeTaxIndia@nsitharaman@KSCAA_CA Return is filed already ignoring the error, i never said return is not getting filed, i said above you say Validation Successful but below you say there are errors. Now what should we think ?
