Hey Company, we totally understand your frustration 🙌 Not being able to receive payment for months, despite delivering great product on time, can be really disappointing. Please DM us your registered details so we can check this further from our end and assist you better.
@LenskartSupport So from this entire thread it means you are advertising the products that you don’t even have.. may be AI generated or stock photography.. disappointed
My dear front-end developers (and anyone who’s interested in the future of interfaces):
I have crawled through depths of hell to bring you, for the foreseeable years, one of the more important foundational pieces of UI engineering (if not in implementation then certainly at least in concept):
Fast, accurate and comprehensive userland text measurement algorithm in pure TypeScript, usable for laying out entire web pages without CSS, bypassing DOM measurements and reflow
Design is easy.
- Your CEO wants you to "design like Apple" with 0.001% of their design budget. Also your CEO: "Why does this button need to be so big?"
- Engineering: "We need to completely rebuild the design system before we can change that color." Reality: The color gets changed in 2 hours when a major investor complains
- Your board member saw Figma's new AI features and now asks your CEO: "Why haven't we replaced our designers with AI yet?"
- Research team: "We need 3 months for proper user testing." Reality: Features get designed based on what the CEO's spouse said at dinner last night
- Your design system has gone through 8 rebrands and 4 complete overhauls. The only consistent thing is your declining mental health.
- Marketing: "Just make it pop more and I can increase conversions by 300%." Also Marketing: Never provides actual copy or real content.
- Data team: "Show me the A/B test results for this pixel change." Also Data team: "No, we can't track the thing you actually want to measure."
- Every designer: "Our users need a clean, intuitive experience." Every product: Same exact design trending on X.
- Executive: "We need to be more user-centric." Same executive: Still hasn't used the product since the beta version from 2019.
Hug a designer, we're definitely not okay :)
