After Vote Chori and Sarkar Chori - the BJP-EC jugalbandi has finished the contest before it has even begun with Seat Chori.

Look at what happened in the recent Rajya Sabha elections.

Congress candidate Meenakshi Natarajan ji submitted every document. No pending cases. The EC cancelled her nomination on a frivolous BJP objection.

Parimal Nathwani ji, the BJP-backed independent, got his own name wrong on the form and skipped multiple mandatory disclosures. The EC gave him an extension to fix everything.

Same Election Commission. Two candidates. One was disqualified without even a hearing. The other was rewarded despite not following the rules.

When the Congress sought a meeting, the EC first tried to evade us. When we finally met, they did not say one word.

Expect to see much more of this - because for the BJP, it is far easier to fix the election than to win it.

आज सुबह मैं पंतनगर पहुँच गया था। वहाँ से हमें हेलिकॉप्टर द्वारा अल्मोड़ा में जनसभा के लिए जाना था, लेकिन मौसम की प्रतिकूल परिस्थितियों को देखते हुए पायलट ने उड़ान भरने से साफ़ इनकार कर दिया।

मुझे आपसे बहुत सी बातें करनी थीं - उत्तराखंड की वर्तमान स्थिति पर, प्रदेश के आर्थिक और सामाजिक मुद्दों पर, राज्य और आपके भविष्य पर, और उन चुनौतियों पर जिनका सामना आज उत्तराखंड कर रहा है। पौड़ी गढ़वाल में पूर्व सैनिकों के साथ भी एक महत्वपूर्ण मुलाकात और बैठक निर्धारित थी। साथ ही कोटद्वार में दीपक के जिम जाने का भी कार्यक्रम था।

प्रकृति के आगे हम सभी विनम्र हैं और सहयात्रियों की सुरक्षा के साथ कोई समझौता नहीं किया जा सकता। कई बार परिस्थितियाँ हमारी इच्छा के अनुरूप नहीं होतीं, लेकिन इससे मिलने की इच्छा और आपसे जुड़ाव कम नहीं होता।

मैं आपसे वादा करता हूँ कि बहुत जल्द फिर उत्तराखंड आऊँगा। तब हम जल्दबाज़ी में नहीं, बल्कि पूरा समय निकालकर मिलेंगे, बात करेंगे, आपके विचार सुनेंगे और मिलकर प्रदेश के बेहतर भविष्य की दिशा में चर्चा करेंगे।

जल्द ही मुलाकात होगी।

While visiting NC leaders continue offering clarifications, affected residents are still waiting for relief. Despite assurances from Minister Javed Rana, no concrete action has been taken so far, and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah remains absent from the ground situation.

और मोदी जी ने न ज़िम्मेदारी ली, न धर्मेंद्र प्रधान को हटाया, न एक शब्द कहा।

अब जब छात्र, NSUI और INC के कार्यकर्ता न्याय की आवाज़ उठा रहे हैं - BJP की प्रदेश सरकारें उन पर लाठियाँ बरसा रही हैं।

जो सरकार छात्रों के सवालों का जवाब लाठी से देती है, वो जवाबदेही से नहीं - डर से चलती है।

पर हम डरने वाले नहीं हैं।

हम तब तक नहीं रुकेंगे जब तक धर्मेंद्र प्रधान इस्तीफ़ा नहीं देते और देश में पेपर लीक रोकने के लिए एक मज़बूत और सुरक्षित सिस्टम नहीं बनता।

यह लड़ाई हर उस छात्र के लिए है जिसका भविष्य इस नाकाम सरकार ने चुराया।

Today, demolitions took place in Sidra Jammu once again. The government must explain who ordered these demolitions and what action will be taken if they were unauthorized.
Minister Javed Rana visited the area and said action would be taken against the officers involved. But Chief Minister Omar Abdullah must clarify who ordered the demolition. If these actions were carried out without his knowledge, then as CM and in charge of the Revenue Department, he should take responsibility and resign.

कांग्रेस पार्टी महिला आरक्षण का पूरा समर्थन करती है। संसद ने 2023 में सर्वसम्मति से ये बिल पारित किया था जो अब हमारे संविधान का हिस्सा है।

सरकार अब जो प्रस्ताव ला रही है, उसका महिला आरक्षण से कोई संबंध नहीं है। वो सिर्फ़ delimitation और gerrymandering के जरिए सत्ता हथियाने का प्रयास है।

जाति जनगणना के आंकड़ों को दरकिनार कर OBC, दलित और आदिवासी समुदायों से किसी हालत में “हिस्सा चोरी” बर्दाश्त नहीं की जाएगी। हम दक्षिण, उत्तर-पूर्व, उत्तर-पश्चिम और छोटे राज्यों के साथ भी किसी कीमत पर अन्याय नहीं होने देंगे।

One of the BJP's dangerous plans is to “gerrymander” all Lok Sabha seats to its advantage for the 2029 elections

The proposed Bills remove all Constitutional safeguards on delimitation, giving full power to the Delimitation Commission which the govt itself will appoint and direct.

We have seen how BJP does this - it hijacked delimitation in Assam and Jammu and Kashmir, where it split up anti-BJP regions and communities for electoral advantage. As a result,
- some seats have 25 lakh voters, while some have only 8 lakh
- some seats have 12 Vidhan Sabha segments, while some have only 6
- ⁠some seats are broken into pieces without connection, sometimes divided by rivers or mountains

Having captured the Election Commission, PM Modi is confident that he can capture the Delimitation Commission too. The Congress will not allow this to happen.

Delimitation should be based on a transparent policy framework, developed after wide consultations with a consensus. Indians of all communities and States should feel confident that they will be represented and their voices will be heard.

This is the only way forward to protect and strengthen our democracy.

Congress party unequivocally supports Women’s Reservation. Parliament unanimously passed the bill in 2023, it is already part of our Constitution.

What the government is proposing now has nothing to do with women’s reservation. This amendment is an attempted power grab using delimitation and gerrymandering.

We will not allow ‘Hissa Chori’ from OBC, Dalit and Adivasi communities by ignoring the caste census data. We will also not allow Southern, North Eastern, North Western and smaller states to be treated unfairly.
