One of my new year resolutions last year was to spend time travelling through our beautiful country with the family and to resist the temptation of booking in a more convenient flight to South East Asia or Europe. Took time and effort to finally make the trip to Saurashtra but delighted that I could get the kids to do some Bharat Darshan this year. Little point in learning about the culture of other nations, without first being immersed in our own rich culture and heritage. Cannot have kids growing up as foreigners in their own land.
