सोना नहीं बेचा

Bloomberg ने माना है कि रिजर्व बैंक के सोना बेचने की खबर गलत है. उन्होंने स्टोरी वापस ले ली है लेकिन कोई माफी नहीं माँगी है.

Bloomberg ने दो जून को खबर दी थी कि रिजर्व बैंक ने ₹1.14 लाख करोड़ का सोना बेच दिया है. उन्होंने यह अनुमान रिजर्व बैंक के भंडार में सोने की कीमतों पर लगाया था. मई के भंडार की कीमत कम दिखाई दी तो मान लिया कि सोना बेचा गया है. सोना बेचकर डॉलर खरीदे गए होंगे जो रुपए को बचाने के काम में आएंगे. रिपोर्ट में गलती यह कर दी कि सोने की कीमतें भारत के बुलियन बाजार के उसी दिन के भाव के आधार पर जोड़ी गई जबकि रिजर्व बैंक लंदन की एक दिन पहले की कीमतों को मानता है. लंदन की कीमतों के अनुसार सोने का भंडार जस का तस बना हुआ है.
