EWS Reservation cannot be allocated more than their population.
Based on the SC,ST,OBC projections in NFHS report we have made a finding on what is the probable EWS population in every state allocating 50% of General category to EWS, which is very high.
What we found was that in many states the EWS population is lesser than 10%?
The recent Telangana Caste Survey has confirmed this.
Based on this we have found that the Excess EWS reservation can be allotted to OBC/SC/ST as shown in the graphic below.
At one end, they receive excessive reservation and at another end, they want to remove reservation...

Ashok Sethi (48, Dalit) & his family used to wash villagers’ clothes and got around 10kg of paddy/year from each family as part of a barter system. In 2000, Sethi’s family demanded payment in cash. The villagers imposed penalty on the family, and they were ostracised.
