This is not only a governance issue but also a clear case of fraud. For the past three years, players and parents have been misled through false claims of affiliation. Conducting tournaments under such misrepresentation is illegal and must be stopped.
A new notice dated 15 Aug 2025 (attached) from one faction announces a “State Ranking” event in Ajmer and falsely claims affiliation with @TTFI_tweets and recognition by the Rajasthan State Sports Council. This claim is untrue.
Parents and players raised repeated concerns with Hon'ble Minister Col. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore. In response he dissolved both factions and barred them from continuing such activities. However, the problem remains unresolved.
Since 2022, the Rajasthan Table Tennis Association's office bearers have been split into two parallel factions, creating confusion among players. Both factions have been sending teams to National Tournaments under the labels “TTFI-1” and “TTFI-2” instead of “Rajasthan State.”
As per the official TTFI website and Telephonic conversation with Secretary General
@Kamleshtt1560
on 16 August, No Rajasthan Table Tennis Association is Affiliated with
@ttfitweets for the year 2025. Hence, this tournament announcement is unauthorized and misleading.
It has come to our notice that an advertisement is being circulated on WhatsApp regarding a so-called “Rajasthan Table Tennis Association” claiming affiliation with Table Tennis Federation of India and announcing a State Ranking Tournament in Ajmer from 24–28 Aug 2025.

Amit Gupta’s parents traveled to Qatar in poor health only to meet him for 5 minutes after 6 months of detention.
They returned heartbroken. His kids (6 & 11) ask daily: Where is Papa?
He deserves justice. Not silence.
