@JanikEckardt The thing is, people who don't watch the all 22 see plays like this on TV. Ingram running out behind a defender putting pressure on Kirk. They don't realize it's someone else's man and it's after he puts Vita Vea on the ground.
@JanikEckardt@VikingNations I watched the all 22. He's not lying. He gave up 3 pressures in the first half and 2 of the plays went for first downs to Jefferson. The 3rd was also a completion for decent yards. Good? No. Terrible? No.
@thedrew10@IKE_Packers@packers It was a debate who would be the #1 overall, Rodgers or Alex Smith. You don't know wtf you're talking about. Love was the 4th QB in his class. Look up the 4th QBs taken in the last 15 years. He's more likely to go the way of those guys. Good luck
@_Hold_This_L_ @jasrifootball He's 6th all time in yards and TDs. W/L is a team stat. 21 other starters on O and D. QBs aren't even on the field for 50% of a team's total plays. HE isn't barely over .500. You can take all of the greats & their team records are all falling in line with how good the D was.
@JanikEckardt Kirk's the only one in the top 50 all time tds that has had defenses ranked 27th or worse in points or yards 75% of his career as a starter and it's not close. Here's records of 18 guys at the top of that list with D that bad.
@JanikEckardt Another thing I'll say. Cousins has finished with a rating over 100 3 of the past 4 seasons. Allen only once so far. If we take Allen's last 3 which are far better than year 1&2 he's at 107,92,96 Cousins 105,103,92. I know you're a kirk guy. I may be a bigger one.
@JanikEckardt OK I'll walk back the Allen comments. His first 2 seasons really skew the numbers, BUT he's not better than Burrow in my mind. It's Mahomes and Burrow 1/2 for me.
@JanikEckardt Allen is so overrated as are a lot of guys simply because they're young. Kirk's numbers are better than Allen's and even adding rushing yards, Kirk still has more yards than Allen. Allen has a career 92 rating. More potential because he's younger but he's not better
@spardisjx@vikingsnationmn Did the 1999 Rams have false hope after going 4-12 in 1998? If we get our defense to mid pack, there is no false hope. It's real.
@sosarick@ThePurpleCode1 @Skolvikings_1 You compare Dalvin's 2022 number with Mattison's career number. 2021 and 2022 Dalvin was at 4.7 and 4.4. Those same years Mattison was at 3.7 and 3.8. If you use a career # for one, use it for the other or compare year to year.
@BruceIronsNFL It's funny, you list weight like that matters but don't list hands, route running, college production, drops, heart, drive, etc. Some you can't measure. After seeing JJ's rookie year and Watson's rookie year it's obvious JJ has FAR MORE potential than 16 drops Watson.
@Jonnywalking2@BruceIronsNFL You know JJ's ceiling? The guy in 3 years has added exactly 20 receptions and almost exactly 200 yards to his totals in his first 3 years. 88-108-128, 1400-1616-1809. How tf are you seeing a ceiling?
