Gloves are off now, Elon.
Still no licence? Wrong. Starlink got its Unified Licence with GMPCS authorisation from the DoT in June 2025. You know that. Your own VP posted about it.
Ambani is the real boss?
Ambani's Jio lobbied for a spectrum auction. India gave you administrative allocation, the exact thing you asked for. Then you signed distribution deals with Jio and Airtel. If Ambani is blocking you, why is he your reseller?
Five years of complying?
In 2021 you took pre-order money from Indians with no licence at all. The DoT had to order you to stop and refund people. That was your first move in India.
India's home ministry reportedly froze clearances after Starlink terminals showed up in Iran, where you aren't even licensed. Before that, our army pulled one out of a militant cache in Manipur. Your own company says talks are active and productive. So which version is true: the one your VP tells Delhi, or the one you tell 200 million followers?
The spectrum rules were cleared last month and are headed to Cabinet. You're weeks from the finish line, and you're throwing a tantrum in public to rush a sovereign country's security review.
India isn't a market you can bully on X. Wait your turn.
@Chinmayi I understand you have issues, shaped by past experiences. But if this is your choice for therapy, I do not see it working.
@svembu's take is incorrect. Building in India and building in the US are not the same.
@ChekrishnaCk 'If X can do something, why cant Y' is the most brain-dead argument one can offer. Priorities come in the way of life. If the sole motive of oneself is to integrate with Karnataka/Kannadigas, this might be a reasonable expectation. For any immigrant with other priorities, it isnt
@Nithin0dha It is amazing how a semi decent product like Zerodha can be heads and shoulders better than the competition. Taking a product based approach towards solving the broking problem will yield a product that is significantly better than even Zerodha in terms of customer experience.
@Nithin0dha Unless this is a critique of Angel One's advertising strategy, this post by itself is an ad. Zerodha will probably find more of its paying customers on Linkedin/Twitter than on television.
@ICICIPruLife makes it a point to stick it to its customers at every opportunity it gets. Apparently older customers of the Signature ULIP product do not have access to newer funds launched within the product. Havent seen a bigger mockery being made of paying customers.
