The 🇪🇺 EU's decision and fine against x support and enable freedom of speech NOT the other way around.
You have always said that your companies will comply with local laws, and now you are promoting illegal activities in Europe.
In fact, x promotes, as documented many time, and supports many illegal and criminal actors who undermine freedom of speech, and by allowing them to continue their activities, you are acting against freedom of speech.
The EU commission warned you many times to comply with local laws which you ignored. If you don't comply with laws its not only justified but important to get fined.
If you want to improve freedom of speech, you should start by influencing US policy, as the US currently ranks 55th in the global index, while most European countries are in the top 20.
