I just learned, I’m an "instructional casualty". I could always learn to read, but did’t have adeqite instruction available to succeed. At 17 years I got access to an evidence based reading program. Thank you Dr. Jennifer Buckingham for speaking.

As Mr. Kareem Weaver - Education Expert said today; How many of the 157 recommendations from the Right to Read Report will be implemented? Are we collectively going to make change? The Right to Read Report needs to be a Call to Action!

I struggle every day with `Learning to Read` and `Reading to Learn``. There are so many Slippsters (instructional causalities) like me who need intervention now, before they age out of the public education system; like I am about to.
