Unless there’s stronger evidence we’ve not seen, if it’s only these solicitor letters &online evidence, I don’t see any case here. Don’t allow solicitor chop your money o😩. You may spend years in court and pay more in legal fees than the money you’re trying to recover. Be wise😜
@ngozi1133@MdConfi I get you, but it must still be proved that he never intended to marry her and only made the promise to get money.A breakup alone does not prove that. If he had married her, would the alleged debt or deceit suddenly be okay? No.That’s why the loan should stand on its own evidence.
Wanting marriage from someone you love is not desperation. However, claiming you chose not to marry them bcos of their questionable character, then making their failure to marry you part of a legal grievance, appears contradictory.A loan dispute should stand on its own evidence✌🏽
@MdConfi That’s exactly my point. Adding the failed marriage promise to the legal response weakens the money issue, unless there is proof that he used marriage to get the money from her. Otherwise, it just sounds like she is more upset about not getting married.
A relationship of PARTICULAR CONCERN🙁. At this point, it needs a strategy meeting, chronology and financial audit😭. The presenting issue is breakup, but the underlying concerns are alleged debt, broken promises, family dynamics, leaked chats and solicitors exchanging letters.🙁
If a debt exists, it should be repaid. But mixing an alleged debt with disappointment over a proposal distracts from the issue: was it a loan, how much was borrowed, and what repayment was agreed? once other expectations enters, the financial issue becomes unnecessarily muddled😫
A failed promise of marriage only becomes relevant to the financial dispute if it can be shown that the promise was deliberately used to obtain the money. Otherwise, a relationship ending without marriage does not automatically turn every transfer into fraud.

@Gviev They’ve been running up and down—from IG to X app to TikTok—just cursing people and defending nonsense. At the end of the day, when they’re older, they’ll ask themselves what they actually did with all their time in life. 😫😭
🤷🏽♀️ There’s obviously something Gen Zs know about marriage that we OGs don’t. If someone has allegedly done all those things to you, I’m still wondering why you would want that same person to be serious about marrying you. I honestly don’t get it.
All of you shouting, “Abuser!”—yet you come online to insult and drag families. What exactly does that make you?😀
You cannot condemn abuse while using abuse as your weapon. You are not diff from the person you’re calling out; you are also an abuser—the only diff is the form 😀
It’s the bandwagon mentality on this app for me 😂 Suddenly, everyone has a perfect r/ship and has become a relationship expert—even people in questionable r/ships are roaring the loudest. Enjoy the engagement because, in a few days, y’all will move on to the next topic 😀
Any allegation of abuse is serious, but people are mixing old stories, leaked chats and assumptions as if they were inside the r/ship. They’re both adults, and none of us knows the full story. The r/ship has ended, which is what many fans wanted, so let them both move on in peace.
This era of relationships breaking down and grown adults communicating their displeasure through blogs is honestly appalling and distasteful. If you have a story to tell, tell it yourself. What’s all this running to blogs and sending coded messages? It’s giving immaturity😏😫
How can we keep shouting “One Nigeria” when Nigerians are still discriminated against because of their state of origin?
A country is supposed to be a place where every citizen feels they belong. How can people be treated as outsiders in their own country? The hypocrisy 🥲
For me, despite all my degrees, experiences, and achievements, becoming a mum is still one of the best things that has ever happened to me. Being able to bring three amazing humans into the world is a blessing I’ll never take for granted. ❤️
