As I finish my run at @tech_mahindra, I feel proud to share that the #GenerativeAI project challenge I took up earlier has been successfully accomplished by our brilliant research team at Makers Lab.

We launched #ProjectIndus in beta testing phase within TechM. The pure Hindi LLM consists of 539 million parameters and 10 billion Hindi+ dialect tokens. The model is probably only one in the world which has all Hindi tokens and has been trained grounds up. It will set the stage for the years to come as our prowess in deep tech.

I now pass the baton over to @mohitjoshi74, @nickmalhotra and team, and my talented #TechMighties, who will take this one notch higher. Thank you for everything, team!

In the 6th century BC in ancient China, the Duke of Qi just sentenced someone to death for losing his favorite bird...

His wise chief minister, Yang Yin, wanted to intervene, but without offending his powerful boss.

So he devised a clever ruse...

The crime the bird caretaker, Zhu Zou, committed wasn't punishable by death, according to Qi's laws. However, you can't just say that to Duke.

So Yang Yin goes to the Duke and humbly suggests to him...

"Your Majesty, Zhu Zou committed three crimes. Please may I recite them to his face so that he understands the reason he is going to die?"

The Duke agreed...

His guards went and brought Zhu Zou to the palace, before the Duke.

Yan Ying knelt down and began to denounce Zhu Zou:

1. "You were asked to care for Your Majesty’s birds, but yet you let one escape. This is your first crime."

2. "Because of one bird, you angered Your Majesty. This is your second crime."

3. "Once the other six kingdoms hear about this, they will think of our majesty as being unreasonable for valuing birds over men. This is your third crime."

He then turned to the Duke, "Your Majesty, he may be killed now".

"No need to kill him anymore", the Duke responded. "I have understood the words of wisdom."

He got up from his seat and untied the prisoner by himself.

Lesson: When you are not the top dog, it might not be possible to correct or rebuke your superior without triggering his displeasure.

However, all is not lost...

You can still lead and influence decision-making from your position by being respectful, but finding subtle ways to express your views.

And if your superior is wise and discerning, they will take correction and retrace their steps.
