Had a very pathetic experience with @DelhiPolice official today.

I was doing my usual morning run on the Mayur Vihar 1 <> DND stretch, which I have been doing for more than a decade now.

A DP official posted near the stretch saw me and said "Dubara Mat ana iss taraf". . .

@DelhiPolice @gupta_rekha I request CM @gupta_rekha @CMODelhi to look into this and sensitise officials across ranks how how to behave with citizens, such small gestures will go a long way in ensuring the dignity and image of DP officials which currently is not too good...

Asking my prime minister Jonas Gahr Støre about why Norway refers to India as a democracy when the Indian PM has not had a press conference in 12 years at home. Is not a free press important to democracy anymore? Støre points to India holding elections. He does acknowledge differences in press culture, but also points to Indias large population.

On my personal behalf and on behalf of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, I sincerely thank President Trump for graciously accepting our request to extend the ceasefire to allow ongoing diplomatic efforts to take their course.

With the trust and confidence reposed in, Pakistan shall continue its earnest efforts for negotiated settlement of conflict.

I sincerely hope that both sides will continue to observe the ceasefire and be able to conclude a comprehensive ‘Peace Deal’ during the second round of talks scheduled at Islamabad for a permanent end to the conflict.
