हम सब जानते हैं कि 9 अक्टूबर 2026 को कांग्रेस पार्टी के लोकसभा सदस्य बिमोल अकोइजम को यौन दुराचार के मामले में JNU ने नौकरी से बर्खास्त कर दिया था।

मई 2026 में एक-दो नहीं, बल्कि 11 छात्रों ने बिमोल अकोइजम के खिलाफ यौन उत्पीड़न की शिकायतें दर्ज कराई थीं।

मीडिया रिपोर्टों के अनुसार, जेएनयू ने एक आंतरिक कमेटी गठित की। इस कमेटी ने तमाम साक्ष्यों, गवाहों और पीड़ितों की गवाही के आधार पर मामले की जाँच की, जिसके बाद बिमोल अकोइजम को नौकरी से बर्खास्त कर दिया गया। यह disciplinary action बहुत गंभीर सवाल खड़े करता है।

लेकिन इतने गंभीर मामले में भी अभी तक कांग्रेस पार्टी का शीर्ष नेतृत्व, खुद राहुल गांधी भी, चुप्पी साधे हुए हैं।
