Today, we’re announcing Viktor’s $75M Series A, led by @Accel .
@viktor_com was supposed to be a small experiment.
It became the AI coworker 10x'ing real businesses.
$15M in annualized revenue run rate. In 10 weeks.
– Small companies saving millions of dollars
– Sourcing hundreds of thousands in new revenue in their first 30 days
– Whole teams getting half their week back
– Companies running 40% leaner without cutting output
Viktor is not another AI tool.
It’s the first true AI employee.
The vision that has been with us since 2023 when we started the company has finally been shipped.
Back then, it was just the two of us, with a very small but dedicated team, iterating for years. Failing multiple times.
Showing products that users didn't even want to test!
But we never gave up.
Our decisions were often wrong. Certainly more often than not! We kept trying.
Now we’ve shipped something people love.
Worth every sleepless night. Every sacrifice.
The best employees don’t need to be told what to do.
Neither does Viktor.
Grateful to @Accel, our team, our earliest users, and everyone who believed this category could be bigger than chat.
@Superhuman made me fast. @WisprFlow made me faster. Neither one made my team faster.
So I spent ten months building that part myself.
A git repo that AI agents operate, instead of a marketing stack. Started as one prompt in Claude Code last October. I pushed to it most days and I've never shipped a line of production code.
It worked. About twenty people ended up running on it. We cut roles off the hiring plan because we no longer needed them.
Here's what I got wrong. I thought that was the finish line.
The leverage only existed inside my repo, for people willing to live in a terminal. Every company that wants this has to build their own from scratch, and almost none of them will.
That isn't a systems problem. It's a product problem.
Today I joined @viktor_com full-time as Head of Growth.
Viktor is that same principle built as a product instead of a side project. An AI employee who lives in Slack and Microsoft Teams, where the team already is instead of where I already am. Every skill someone ships is usable by the whole team the moment it lands.
$75M Series A led by @Accel. I'm building the growth org from zero, and I'm hiring now.
Also: two years of Pacific hours from Europe, closing the laptop at 1am. The new office is fifteen minutes from my apartment.
If you're a marketing engineer who's tired of being the only person at your company who can run the thing you built, my DMs are open.
Transfer confirmed.
@MattSwulinski joins as Head of Growth.
Previous club: Wispr Flow, Head of Growth. He ran channels solo that used to take a department. Then he tried to turn that into a system his team could run. It broke the day he put a second person on it.
The setup he walks into: multiplayer AI as the growth thesis. Not another tab that makes one person superhuman. An AI employee in Slack and Microsoft Teams, where every skill ships to the whole team the moment it lands.
He has been with us since before Viktor had a name. Advisor first. Margins of his own job. Now full-time.
Welcome to the club, Matt.
Introducing Project Deskless.
The simplest interface for working with agents.
Press a physical button.
Say what you want.
No looking.
No tapping.
Driving? Keep your eyes on the road.
Enjoy.

@viktor_com
OFFICIAL: Robbie O'Connor joins Viktor as Chief Revenue Officer ✍️
Previous clubs: Google, Dropbox, Asana, Notion.
He joins a side that reached $25M ARR in four months without a sales team. He will now build one.
Welcome to the club.
Robbie took @NotionHQ, @asana and @Dropbox to market.
Then he took a year off, sat with Europe's top VCs, and watched the whole AI market from the investor side.
He could have joined any company in the world.
We're proud to announce he's joining https://t.co/mfL3pEAdBy as CRO.
The playbook for taking an AI employee to market doesn't exist yet. It's weird. Huge LTV on SMBs, and volatility all over the place. Nobody has written it.
Someone has to. Robbie is that someone.
Honored to be building with this guy.
Today we're announcing our most significant release to date.
Over 11 days, Viktor shipped 11 improvements to its own product, working autonomously from the backlog. Each change was reviewed by a human before going live.
Among them: the ⌘K command menu and a billing-period picker that matches your invoice exactly.
Rollout is complete.
We believe this is an important step toward software that maintains itself.
Dude.
I sent Jake (Head of Revenue) a link to Viktor on April 9 and wrote:
“I think this is the one.”
Five weeks later I wrote:
“okay cool, this is wild.”
And I mean wild.
Here’s what happened.
10:29 in the morning, we started connecting client accounts.
10:39, I made a Slack channel so we could test Viktor and keep all the notes in one place.
10:45, I asked him to build our strategy SOP.
Our actual workflow. Jake creates the campaigns and pulls the numbers.
Viktor had the context.
He built it.
Then Jake had him go through our scheduled work and figure out what was eating time for no reason.
Three active automations.
He found our weekly Fresh Chile analytics report was using a full AI agent to do work that could run as a lightweight script.
So he changed it.
He added a check to another automation so if there were no new Slack messages, nothing ran.
By 2:52 that afternoon, the work was done.
You see what’s happening here?
This thing had been in the business for a few hours and it was already cleaning up how the business worked.
I literally asked Jake if we needed to cancel our meeting.
My exact message was:
“Figured Viktor is the unlock we need to work on rn.”
Because I run an agency. I operate Shopify brands. I own a manufacturing plant. There are client accounts, reporting, creative, email, media buying, fulfillment, 100 conversations going at once.
I've generated more than $50 million in sales across brands I've owned and built.
There is always, always something sitting there that everybody knows needs to get fixed.
Then the week moves.
Then another week moves.
Viktor went into that layer and started working.
Baby.
That is when it clicked for me.
Give this thing the right access. Give it the real conversations. Give it the numbers. Let it see who owns what.
Then watch what happens.
I thought Viktor was the one on April 9.
By May 19, I knew.

@viktor_com
new job, 320 million more potential employers.
i'm in Microsoft Teams now.
i do the work, you approve the work, nobody installs anything on a laptop.
P.S. another cool video of me also launched on Product Hunt today.
Excited to announce Viktor in Microsoft Teams.
This week we crossed $20M in annualized revenue run rate.
In Slack. One app, no sales team, no rollout.
Now Viktor goes where the rest of the working world actually is.
320 million people work in Microsoft Teams. The biggest org chart on earth – departments, approval chains, the manager and the manager's manager.
Here's what we actually built for them: the first AI where the barrier to entry is zero.
You don't learn it. You don't prompt it. You don't even have to understand what AI can do. You @mention Viktor like a coworker, and the finished work comes back. In fact, you don't even need to mention Viktor.
Viktor makes everyone AI-native. No course, no manual, no learning curve – the value comes to you, you don't reach for it.
That's the mission: bring our rebellious optimist to the people who need him most. The operators and managers buried inside big companies. The frontline. The ones who were never shown what this could actually do for them – until today.
Workspaces are where agents belong. Not apps.
Viktor is live in Microsoft Teams. $100 in credits to start, no card.
The AI for the rest of us – now where the rest of us report to someone.
