@Yabba900 Back then, Cardano didn’t even have smart contracts. Today Cardano is a much more mature technology. Leios is expected to reach mainnet by the end of the year. Cardano is better now than it was back then. Once crypto starts going up, people will come back and new ones will join.
@4Runna97@dori_coin@Yabba900 People were saying similar things when Cardano dropped from $1 to around $0.02, which was an even bigger decline than in this bear market. It then went on to reach over $3. Thanks for spreading this nonsense FUD, at least the smarter ones got a chance to buy more ADA :-)
@vtgrecia@JaromirTesar The difference in market cap between Cardano’s current position and 10th place is very small. It only takes one major event for the rankings to shift. The higher Cardano’s price goes, the less impact treasury selling will have. There’s nothing to worry about.
@HassanS80408803@dangambardello Cardano has never had a hack, restart, reboot, etc. Its infrastructure is very well designed and stable, so adoption should be easier as a result. If we’re going to see broader adoption, security will be key.
@shaggyrax@IOGroup@jonahkoch But this was planned. What if it turned out that what was in the paper wasn’t correct? Should it still be implemented? That’s not how good research is done. Even if it stays this way, what other chain has the same L1 throughput with the same level of security and decentralization?
@shaggyrax@IOGroup@jonahkoch It’s clear that you’re a really smart guy who knows what he’s talking about. So how would you do it better? Enlighten those of us who are less bright. :-)
