Happy Birthday, picjumbo! 🥳🎉
Twelve years ago, I uploaded the very first photo to this small website called picjumbo.
I had no idea where it would lead — I just wanted to share my photos freely with the world.
No paywalls, no watermarks, no nonsense. Just real, high-quality photos that anyone could use.
And here we are, 12 years later — millions of downloads, thousands of projects powered by these images, and one very grateful creator behind it all 🥳

I'm paying $1188/year for this nightmare.
Every change is for the worse and it's such a misery that I had to write custom CSS.

Can you believe it? Exactly eleven years ago, picjumbo was created with the aim of sharing stock photos in full resolution and for free. And we never changed it.
Happy Birthday picjumbo! You're 11 today! 🎉

New Core Web Vitals 'Interaction to Next Paint' (INP) metric is high for ordinary anchor <a> links.
Has anyone managed to reduce this effectively or figure out why it's so high?
No transitions, no animations...
@achxvi@gumroad This is what happens when you continually promote your product under your competitor's tweets while simultaneously trashing them.
Nothing to brag about.
