@kylezapfv I agree, because from Antolini's perspective, he was concerned about Holden, like a parent. Not as a lover. #zrye4

[vik @viktran99]

@jle_fvhs I agree, this reminds me of when he said he likes the way kids sleep and adults look ugly. #zrye4

[vik @viktran99]

@jennaeverson Like what lily said, Holden tends to be extra and exaggerates so I think it is all about perspectives #zrye4

[vik @viktran99]

novel is very scattered meaning that it doesn't focus on one story, but there are multiple stories in one chapter. #zrye4

[vik @viktran99]

6.Describe the effect of the novel’s structure.
Like most novels, this story is chronological. But unlike most stories, this #zrye4

[vik @viktran99]

he angers people* with his words #zrye4

[vik @viktran99]

him to get beaten up by other guys. He makes him an impulsive person and worsen a lot of his situations because he angers his #zrye4

[vik @viktran99]

7. How do Holden’s words reflect him, his situation, his relationships?
He likes to use his words rather than fight, which causes #zrye4

[vik @viktran99]

@jle_fvhs drinkeven though he is not of age yet. Like when he got drunk in chapter 20 and do stupid things like calling Sally late at night #zapfv421

[vik @viktran99]

@jle_fvhs Holden thinks a lot like a kid. He doesn't like to follow the rules, mess around, and do rebellious things. ex: he likes to #zapfv421

[vik @viktran99]

@breannabuiFV and wants to be dead already. ex: in chapter 20 at the end when he goes into central park and nearly kills himself with the cold. #zapfv421

[vik @viktran99]

@breannabuiFV we all know that Holden is a huge hypocrite, so of course he would interrupts Phoebe. I think it's because he hates himself and #zapfv421

[vik @viktran99]

@mpnguyen1 "they can even have spit all over pillow and still look good" shows children's mistakes dont account as much as adults' mistakes. #zapfv421

[vik @viktran99]

@mpnguyen1 I don't feel like he is a very mature person, so he relates to kids than adults. that's would explain his dislike for adults. @zapfv421
