Mijn schoonmoeder (Likhika Kar) heeft op 10 juni in Bengaluru een visum voor Nederland aangevraagd. Wij willen haar vlucht boeken voordat ik eind juli voor mijn werk naar de VS vertrek, zodat mijn vrouw niet alleen thuis is met twee kleine kinderen.

@NLinIndia @VFSGlobal @vfsglobalcare This regarding short-stay visa application of family members, done at VFS center New Delhi on 06-Apr. Two members have applied for short-stay visa with Group URN - NEDL97238968487. One application was processed on Friday evening.

Now my sister-in-law has a valid visa but mother-in-law is still waiting when they had applied together for it. If I have to change one ticket, it is already costing around 600 euros.

@vfsglobalcare @TanayaKar10 @NLinIndia and how we can reach out to the embassy regarding the schengen visa status. They also have a "generic" response via IVR when we call them. It is a pity that the Indian visa process is so smooth compared to extremely bureaucratic schengen visa process. @marisagerards

@vfsglobalcare I am just wondering if it is possible that application number DENL/ddmmyy/xxxx/02 is processed and delivered, but DENL/ddmmyy/xxxx/01 is still being processed by NL embassy @NLinIndia . Is it not normal to process passports submitted together at once ?

@vfsglobalcare Hi, I understand that completely.

What surprises me is that only one application is processed among two applications with the same file number or group urn. I haven't seen such a case before when it comes to the Schengen visa application.

However, the other application is still pending even though they have the same group URN. It has been 21 days already since the application. Can you please look into it as they have a flight scheduled on Wednesday morning to Schiphol from New Delhi. Thank you.
