@angelvantas I feel like religious psychosis for Hanako would probably come from the fact that he's from a religious conservative family from the 60s and how his mom prayed for him to be cured,can't remember but I think it's shown not sure. The mom believing in Tsu being possessed for example

@angelvantas Girlll years ago I read an entire Tumblr thread that talked about mentions of hell in tbhk and it was a religious analysis. It was so well done!! It talked about what kind of hell would he go to (buddhist hell mostly as japanese are usually buddhist) based on his sins

@angelvantas I legit check ao3 on a daily basis and most of the stories are just...simple and the occasional good fics are either oneshots from authors who'll never make another story or they're long series which get updated after long durations and hence nobody looks forward to it anymore

@angelvantas However most of the artists and ESPECIALLY the writers were all young adults (and hence the amazing quality and consistency) but most of them are now responsible adults with jobs and lives. A lot of authors have even made the work private or deleted it due to personal reasons

@kirugpt I originally watched s1 then read the manga fully and realised just how terrible the anime is. Didn't even bother watching season 2. They ruined every single thing 😒. I'm it's biggest hater tbh. Only the Japanese voice acting and all the songs are good, nothing else is good

@kirugpt Watched the anime and even read the manga in 2022 when it was on hiatus. Joined the fandom during a hiatus (the last chapter was where Nene overheard Teru saying he's gonna exorcise Hanako) so the people thinking its abandoned the manga is funny cause it's not even the 1st break

@Saiunknown59083 @confessionbound Basically everything is a re-upload of old posts. Instagram and Tumblr are some of the sites where a lot of these posts originate from. Basically I've seen most posts already as I've been in fandom for a long time

I think the reason the content seems same to me is because I've been a part of the fandom for so long that recent reddit posts are old posts from other sites(Tumblr)

@VibingLemonArt @confessionbound I was so excited to become a part of it at first and even met an online friend (though she's ghosted me for a year randomly 💀). But now it's just the same stuff and doing random trends. The downfall is so bad I'll soon quit it for sure 😞
