MAN SHOT IN NORTHWEST DC, SUSPECT FLEES IN BLUE CHEVY SUV

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Fourth District officers are investigating a shooting that left a man injured in Northwest D.C.

According to officials, officers responded around 4:08 p.m. to the area of Georgia Avenue and Missouri Avenue Northwest for the report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound.

🚑 DC Fire and EMS transported the victim to an area hospital with injuries described as non-life threatening.

Police are searching for a suspect described as:

👤 Black male
👴 Older in age
🪒 Bald head
⚫ Heavy set build
🔴 Wearing a red hoodie with silver writing

Authorities say the suspect fled the scene in a blue Chevy SUV.
