@Mr_Chhinra_ This is highly unacceptable and unforgiving. This is not just “decorative piece” as Thai claimed but this is a sacred statue and people worship. Doesn’t matter what religion, but destroying this is just disrespectful and cruel.
@freshnewsasia Remember world, never forget this cruelty and evil of Thai. This is not military targets, doing this doesn’t prove strength but weakness.
@jacobincambodia This is cruel and evil. Cultural heritage is not a war zone or military targets. Thai should pay the price for the damage. This is not something that can rebuild again. Thai wants to erase history. This is not the way to shows strength, but it shows weakness.
@Chandra4Bharat@panhaneath157 This is highly disreputable and cruel. Doesn’t matter what religion but destroying any sacred statue is just unacceptable and evil. It tells us a lot about Thai.
@jacobincambodia#Thai is afraid of fact. How many times they violate law and refuse jurisdiction? Cambodia is born thousand years before Thai, despite the fact that majority of lands including #PreahVihear always belong to #Cambodia, Thai’s attacks is illegal and out of combats areas.
What is Thai’s religion? 🇹🇭 Thailand is secular
Has no religion. Cambodia strongly condemns the illegal destruction of ancient temples and shrines by Thai soldiers on the sovereign territory of the Kingdom of Cambodia!
- Buddhism Pagoda (Buddhist religion)
- Takrabei Temple dedicated to "Shiva" (Brahmin religion)
- Statue of "Vishnu" (Brahmin religion).
All ancient temples and statues in Cambodia were built as sacred places, not for decoration. Thailand must be held responsible for its actions!

If you stand for fairness and humanity, you understand that #Thai’s actions on #Cambodia - bombing schools, civilian homes, demolish religious structures, bridge, kill elephants is clearly an attack and mass murder to seize what never belonged to them. Nothing can justify that
