A Living Reminder of a Historic Legacy

Sringeri Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Mahaswamiji recounts a landmark episode in Bharat’s history.

Jagadguru Sri Vidyaranya Mahaswamiji, the 12th Sringeri Jagadguru, whose far-reaching vision ushered in a great renaissance of Sanatana Dharma, was presented with a royal palanquin, regal insignia, and sovereign honours befitting a monarch by the rulers of the Vijayanagara Empire.

Offered with profound reverence, these royal honours were accepted by Sri Vidyaranya Mahaswamiji only upon securing the rulers’ solemn commitment to uphold and protect Sanatana Dharma.

At the rulers' earnest request, the Jagadguru graciously instituted a Darbar during the Sri Sharada Sharannavaratri Mahotsava - an occasion established by the rulers to honour their revered Guru. Subsequently, the Sringeri Jagadguru came to be known as the Karnataka Simhasana Prathisthapanacharya.

Dying masculinity:

I never fit into my generation. They lacked something I saw in every story of Maharana Pratap and Shivaji - Masculinity.

As I aged, I hoped the next wave would be better.
But Gen Y, Z, Alpha? They fell even faster.

- Masculinity traded for chasing women and reels.

- Petty jealousy passed off as "sensitivity"

- No hard skills, no long game. Just dopamine and delusion.

- Weak minds, weaker bodies. India's Soft Power fantasies with no real power.

- Gym cult of bloated sissies - puffed bodies, fragile egos, zero warrior energy.

- Screaming into phones, crying on livestreams, even extreme steps for views. Masculine collapse televised.

- A new tribe of "Sigma males" rage at women 24x7. No Brahmacharya. Just suppressed lust rotting into anger. Gita calls it out.
They age faster, are addicted to screens, obsessed with video games , scrolling social media, and depend on medicines from young age. Desi Sigmas!

- Focus, pain endurance, empire vision are totally wiped out.

- Masculinity is not declining. It is collapsing.

- Loyalty dies when masculinity dies. Was tough to find loyal warriors in Gen X. Far tougher in Gen Y, Z, Alpha.

- It is not random stupidity. It is a pandemic of falling testosterone.

What do fake men do?
- Outrage games. "Haay Haay Taiyyab Ali Pyar ke Dushman" on social media.
- Make reels shouting.
- Show wild behavior in a dopamine surge just anywhere. As if time bombs that can blast anytime due to malfunctioning timers.
- Praise trash like Animal film to feel masculine for 3 hours and fantasize masculinity for rest of lives.

Real masculinity demands
- unflinching loyalty to cause
- persistent urge to build skills and strengths
- constantly expand horizons - physical, mental, strategic, social
- react long term and have massive self-control over short term urges of anger, lust, fear, distraction
- system demands free time from dopamine driven screens and social media
- utmost respect for women. Nasty women? Simply ignore than get into troll loop
- minimal symbolism. maximum realism
- an innate urge for extreme tapasya in silence for days, weeks, months and years to build self

Before this 'Loss of Face' expert runs away with a cockeyed interpretation of the alleged 'tactical mistakes', let me explain the meaning of this:
-The usual and the best way of fighting air battle is by starting with SEAD or DEAD operations, aimed at suppression or destruction, respectively, of the enemy Air Def assets.
-When SEAD and preferably DEAD has been achieved locally or across the board, the enemy gets blinded and the efficacy of his airforce gets deteriorated to a large extent.
-Once the enemy's head is down and his posterior is exposed, you go and take pot shots on those targets.
In other words, it is then that you go for the kill.

Here, since a decision had been taken to go for the kill (terrorist assets) without taking on porkistan's military assets (AD and airforce), our pilots went for high-risk missions. Fortunately, they all came back safe.
Losses, as we all know, are part of any war but whatever little hit we took, was more because of a strategic decision taken at the top level rather than any tactical mistake that, in colloquial terms, may hint at professional mistakes by our air warriors.
We all must be proud of the fact that our ace pilots walked the path of high risk just to honour a decision that had created not-the-best scenario for them.
Let's appreciate the spirit; believe me, it is not easy, neither for the top brass nor the daredevil taking off against odds. Let's feel proud of this tradition of soldiering.
Rather than reading between the lines and over analysing the issue, let us salute to brave mothers who have given such gallant souls to Bharat.
