I had a long conversation with @jack_anorak, president of @DromosLabs and looking back at my public criticism of @AerodromeFi ignition launches, i do think they’re operating in good faith and have been more than willing to take constructive feedback wherever actionable improvements can be made to ignition launches.

I respect @jack_anorak and the aerodrome team for that, and one thing that has to be acknowledged is that they’re experimenting with new launch model structures to avoid snipers and the unhealthy MM dynamics that usually come with launches.

Ofc, every new experimentation comes with tradeoffs, and those tradeoffs are exactly what i’ve been calling out, especially the weak launch-day price action and LP conditions that usually take a few days post-launch to stabilize and strengthen. and the selling pressure that comes from heavy supply airdrops to voters.

Though i will say, after discussing the mechanics in more depth with him, I understand there was some ignorance on my part regarding how the model structure works.

They listened to every point i made and genuinely took insights away to improve future launches. i’ll give credit where credit is due.

Excited to see how the next Ignition launches evolve.

At EthCC, @wagmiAlexander introduced Predictive Allocation for the upcoming Aero launch, a new onchain primitive designed to move rewards in real time toward markets that are actually gaining traction.

That means productive markets can get support faster, and people who spot them early can benefit more.

He described the broader idea as production markets.

Audits begin in mid-April. Aero is planned for July.
