Today, the government is deciding the lifespan of vehicles.
Tomorrow, they might start deciding the lifespan of your fridge, AC, or computer. Instead of focusing on real issues like pollution checks, scientific research, or promoting sustainable practices, arbitrary age limits are being imposed on vehicles.

1) If vehicle age is the real concern, then what's the point of a Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate? Scrap that first.

2) If pollution is the issue, then: Why do new luxury cars that emit more pollutants than well-maintained older cars get a free pass?
3) Why aren't government buses, planes, and other public vehicles held to the same emission standards?
4) Not every family can afford a brand-new car. Many rely on 5–6-year-old second-hand cars that are affordable and functional.
Should they now drive them for just 3–4 years and then sell them as scrap?
5) Why don’t authorities check the lifespan and quality of roads and bridges, which develop potholes right after construction?
6) Frequent power cuts, happening 8–10 times a day, seem designed to benefit the inverter and battery industry rather than address infrastructure problems.

This isn’t about pollution — it’s a ruthless, pro-industry policy that primarily benefits automobile companies.
At this rate, the government might soon start punishing people for living beyond average life expectancy, claiming they are putting pressure on limited public resources.
