@davideoks China’s 9-9-6 sweatshops were bankrolled by American dollars that helped them speed run manufacturing. India is doing everything the rigt way by preserving citizen rights. Any metrics or figures put out by CCP are not trustworthy

@the_1st_atom@davideoks Ofcourse we are not. Uncle Sam made a mistake by funding their own replacement
India will not be so lucky so we need to do things the hard way
This is actually very great news if the deal is made.
Lots of concerns around funding AI capex will be gone, or the market would say there is no intermediate financial risk.
Bullish news for AI semis and neocloud/CSPs.
Hermes Agent Desktop App is much more than a nicer UI, it's a full control surface for your agents.
I have my main Hermes Agent on my big PC with all my projects and skills and memories.
I want to do work on my laptop in the living room while watching baseball.
In less then 5 minutes, I'm all set up through the remote gateway. Watch to find out how, and look forward to my full guide on the Desktop app later in the week at https://t.co/QL8cYdHYrP
AI works better when you give tools and freedom instead of forcing them into rigid, hand-designed workflows—because general learning systems scale better.

Mysterious ‘cold blob’ in the Atlantic suggests the AMOC is weakening
A patch of ocean south-east of Greenland is the only place on Earth that is cooling, and it could be a sign that the warm water “conveyor belt” in the Atlantic is slowing down

@ankurparikh@davideoks The author points to the social structures of the country as a possible cause of India’s backwardness. Whereas the reality is that big daddy America bankrolled China’s sweatshops which helped them speed run manufacturing. The only real tool to lift millions out of poverty
@quxiaoyin Ageism in the highly meritocratic startup world doesn't make sense. Unless a founder’s age is a signal that the VC is optimising for their storytelling to their limited partners.
@bilepeddlar@ChengLilun@davideoks Because unlike China which had America bankroll its sweatshops and helped it build its manufacturing from 0 to 1, India is try to build up the right way and that takes time
@bilepeddlar@geofontes12@davideoks The West had the colonial loot to fund its development and China had America funding its sweatshops
India has been doing pretty much everything the right way and hence you see the delays in our outcomes
@bilepeddlar@geofontes12@davideoks My arguments r consistent. India had a late start with capitalism, coupled with a multi-ethnic democracy that prioritises plebeian sensitivities, unlike China with an authoritative government steamrolling development at the expense of citizens' rights. This explains our situation
@tehseenp The Indian State hates the middle class. The meteoric rise of cost of living has only left us with the option to DINK
Cant afford a child, house or a car since wages have been stagnant and this is after being paid “good” salaries as per the research data
