Since you brought up Chesterton, here’s Chesterton on Hinduism’s propensity to lead to socialism. Religion matters. Worldview matters. Our deepest, most core beliefs obviously matter.

Perhaps Vivek has escaped some of the ills that plague Hinduism, but his deepest core beliefs will always pose a danger to his secondary beliefs and actions. You wouldn’t deny this is true for a Muslim. Let’s be consistent.
