@benny_alexander The grassroots efforts of local clubs. People who bust their arses day in and day out to help people from all walks of life get a game on the weekend. Anyone higher on the food chain though, nope.

@me_dc The most important thing to those in power is to hold onto their position, even at the expense of the game. It's felt from the grassroots up. As someone who is located in the Brumbies catchment, if it involves money or someone in a Canberra office doing something it won't happen.

@me_dc Australian Rugby (and their Super Rugby franchises except for the Western Force) have the same problem that the NSWRL had before Super League and that Wests & St George have now - they're run by a bunch of old dinosaurs that won't do anything if it may require them to vacate. 1/2
