WMFR on scene of a hazmat incident at the National Laboratory of the Rockies (NLR) off Denver West Parkway. A call to 911 reported a strong chemical odor in one laboratory. Four to five people were exposed to the chemical, but did not need medical treatment. West Metro's hazmat team made entry to the lab, and found an obstruction in the lab's ventilation system. The team cleared the obstruction to get the system working properly again. Thanks to @SouthMetroPIO for the assistance on the call.

Crews were busy this morning at a fire in SW Denver near 3rd and Perry. Multiple outbuildings in a residential backyard were on fire when firefighters arrived. No injuries and fire investigators are on scene looking for fire cause.

@DenverPolice @DenverPolice it’s at southbound i25 / 8th Ave (209C) before 6th Ave exit 209b & 209a. At 11:41 pm (23:41) two tow trucks are loading the two vehicles. The four door jeep was rear ended by a 4 door old model car with heavy front damage
