和年轻朋友聊天的总结：

第二个话题，焦虑。

这个话题其实属于老生常谈，但如何缓解焦虑，这件事儿其实并不太容易。否则，也不会至少一半的朋友，都谈到了焦虑这个问题。

首先，我们来看焦虑究竟来自哪里。

很多朋友会觉得，焦虑来自收入不足，来自 peer pressure，来自和别人的比较。

其实并不是，焦虑来自「不确定性」。

- 哪怕你一个月收入 10W，但你随时担心失业，是否会失去这 10W 的现金流也不是自己可以把控的，那你仍然会焦虑。
- 如果你有每个月 1W 的被动收入，那么哪怕是随时可能失业，相信你也不会那么焦虑。

所以，焦虑来自对不确定的「谷底」的恐惧，如果你求职的可能收入范围是 0 - 10W，那么你一定仍然会焦虑；如果你同时有 1W 的固定房贷，那么你害怕的，其实是 -1W - 9W 这个区间里的那个 -1W，而完全会忘记自己也许也可能找到 10W 的岗位，除了房贷还有 9W 呢。

因此，人们焦虑的，是「最差」的那个可能性。

那么，内如何缓解焦虑。

既然知道焦虑的来源了，其实解决也并不困难。

1）首先，不要过于关注你能力范围内的上限可能性。

不要因为能力不如你的人获得了更高薪，更好的职位而觉得不平衡。人生里，运气做主才是常态，这种不平衡的心情，最多持续一小会，却并不是你焦虑的来源，根本不重要。

2）评估自己的下限。

如果你现在月薪 3W，但你的资历能让你再运气最差的时候（和岗位的技术匹配度一般，脱离自己的行业积累优势，纯粹靠陌生的技术面试去敲门），也能极高概率的拿到 2W 的岗位（小厂，创业公司哪怕是）。那么你的下限就在这里，你的生活态度，你可能的负债，都应该围绕这个去建立。

很多悲剧的源头，都是错误的估计自己「上限」和「下限」的关系，围绕「上限」去决策生活。

3）提高自己的下限。

技术人员，很容易有短板的，这些短板，每一个都可能让你在机会出现的时候功亏一篑。不要认为自己的长处总是能被人发现，不要妄想自己的长处可以有正好拉满匹配的高薪岗位：人生里，运气做主才是常态。

- 核心擅长的技术深度
- 不需要那么擅长的技术的广度（其他开发语言，前后端，数据库，中间件）
- 其他技术岗位的宽度（你是开发，你需要懂测试，懂运维，其他岗位对应的也一样）
- 技术管理的能力
- 专业业务知识
- 广义业务知识
- 软技能：沟通，逻辑，外语等等等等

你全方位的没有明显短板，你的下限就可以慢慢扎实的提高，你的焦虑感就会显著的变少。不要让自己变成一个虽然手持高薪，但随时担心失业归零的人。

4）其他的下限

不要在一条路上绑死。

副业，朋友，人脉，这些都可以提高你人生的容错率。就像前边的一个例子，如果你有 1W 每个月的被动收入，大部分普通人是不会焦虑的。

我是个家里没有矿，没有人会给我的人生兜底容错的人。所以我的职场生涯，一直都选择的风险最低的抉择。

站在一个长达十几年，或更长的职业周期来看，大部分人所处的位置，工作生活的状态，是和自己的整体能力高度趋近的。

因为自己的能力足够扎实，运气能影响到你的才足够的小。不确定性小了，焦虑才小。
