@red_helms@RedditCFB It is that simple. If the noon facemask should've been flagged, then the officials got that one wrong. The solution isn't to miss the Sunday night call too. Consistency means enforcing the rule correctly every time, not repeating mistakes
@red_helms@RedditCFB "Someone got away with it before" has never been a compelling argument in sports... or anywhere else. I don't enjoy it tho, i'm just used to it
@Waiting4Wenz@OldTakesExposed@FAmmiranteTFJ said USA isn't close. They won by surviving 60 minutes of being outplayed and getting bailed out by a 3v3. Frank was accidentally more right than the final score suggests. Be humble guys
@OldTakesExposed Apparently reading comprehension isn't everyone's strong suit. I would be the first one laughing at this take if the Americans had won with Canada's statline
@OldTakesExposed Not really. The United States were dominated and got outplayed for most of the game. If Canada is more opportunistic and Hellebuyck doesn't play the game of his life, Canada wins by 3+ goals. It's not the 'gotcha' moment this account has gotten me used to in the past haha
@Fins_Heat_Canes@OldTakesExposed Celebrate your win, you deserve all of it. Just be humble enough to take the win quietly and not rub it in too much, knowing you guys kind of got away with this one 😅
