My @btcplusplus Taipei Recap Finally recovering from an intense three days! Huge thanks to @TempoHouseHQ for getting me to BTC++ Taipei and @PlanBTaiwanNode for bringing me into the BTC ecosystem. Before the event, I discovered @FrostsnapTech. I was immediately blown away by how it handles offline key aggregation with the cool Frostsnap device—no trusted dealers needed. You can separate keys across countries or friends, removing single points of failure without losing ownership. Day 2 was a total rollercoaster. With only 3.5 hours for the hackathon, I scrapped my first idea and almost gave up. Then it hit me: As a core contributor from @xuedao_tw, DAOs like us need better ways to manage treasury permissions. So, I pivoted and built FrostDAO to add tier-based constraints to transactions. (Shoutout to @utxoclub for the base repo https://t.co/PdwQLKDIls and the wonderful Day 1 workshop!) The demo was the scary part. Presenting in English is a rare challenge for me. I built a full UI to make it smoother and practiced a hundred times overnight. But once on stage, my mind went blank. 😅 I forgot my script and just spoke from the heart. To my surprise, I won 1st Place and Best Use of Cryptography! 🏆 I also took home three Frostsnap devices. Now I just need enough $BTC to actually make them useful, haha. Can't wait for the next event in Seoul and to meet people there again!
