We have to extend a huge thank you to @calfire for being able to watch over our property and keep it safe. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all who have lost property from these fires. Thank you to all the firefighters who work tirelessly to save our valley
Thank you to everyone for your calls, emails and text messages over the last 24-48 hours. While good news has been hard to come by for everyone in our valley, we are relieved to report that the 29 estate property is currently untouched by the fires.
@LongeneckerBob@Vineyard29 LOVE Vineyard 29. Had an epic private tasting there some years back. All the way to the back of the caves. First class wine. I have a magnum of their 2011 CabFranc that will be going down soon.
We rotate our tanks on a cycle so that we always have a similar percentage of new vs. once used vs. twice used, vs. three times used for our estate Cabernet program. We like to keep them fresh so we replace them every five years.

Poor quality pic but great juice. The Ma Belle Fille is the 2017. Huge Chard. The @Vineyard29 Aida Estate is a 2012. Wow. So silky yet packed full of jammy berry fruit.
Had a friend over for her 60th birthday on our back porch for a socially distanced celebration. A nice chocolate almond torte and this tasty late harvest Zinfandel from @Vineyard29 Cheers!
Things are looking great in the @vineyard29. They just finished their 2nd pass on suckering - suckering, aka shoot thinning is the process of removing the excess growth from the grape vines. This helps to maintain vine balance & creating a canopy ideal for grape growing #wine
