@SebC__ May have now missed the boat on this one. However it’s not him at Chelsea but him being coached at villa by an absolute top coach that is making his stock go up. Good players are turned great by coaching. I am sure if conte was our coach he would have got a tune out of him.

@SebC__ Instead of splurging on Washington , Angelo, mudryk (who I believe will still be good players if they had a good supportive coach around them) and Kdh. And we got Pulisic off.

We could have easily gone and revamped with Nico and olise and got CM or had change left over.

@SebC__ Guaranteed Conte drills that defence into shape and has one look at Josh and chalobah and brings them in. But coaches like him will not fit the agenda of the current hierarchy. Message comes out , “Chelsea are looking for a different identity that is aligned with the club” 🤣🤣🤣

@SebC__ We asked the academy to produce first team talent. They did just that. Then our fan base said that’s not worth the hype. We all became scouts and wrote threads on kids from everywhere and said they are next ballon dor winner. We end 10th and say the club has lost its soul.the end

@ScottyHayter All aura and all ego has been washed away with data and transfer washing and hype.we are divided as a club since tuchel , cech and marina left. It was in 2019 all journalist were writing how Chelsea as a club for the first time were in harmony from the academy to the first team.

A comment on my website this morning by our community member @bradhaylock14 that will resonate with many of you:

'I really want to back these owners and I hate getting drawn into the negativity, but f*ck me it’s difficult at times.

'The feeling of it being Chelsea is completely gone. These owners are absolutely obsessed with young talent and flipping them from profit. Casedei & Datro Fofana being sold, what’s actually the point in them being bought in the first place?

'I adore Trevoh Chalobah. Never kicked up a fuss, plays multiple positions and absolutely loved the club - these are the type of players but most importantly, people you need to invest in. What’s the incentive for an academy player to come through our ranks now? None.

'Don’t get me wrong, the Abramovich era wasn’t perfect and the structure wasn’t great - but Winstanley & Stewart need to go ASAP. Jurasek too. This is the problem when you get American owners in who have no clue about football or running a football club whatsoever - they’ve sucked the life out of this football club.

'Ways to fix it:

- offer Frank Lampard the bag to come in as some sort of talent ID role

- stop signing every single 16 year old to exist

- stop signing potential. Time is against these owners, we need to start winning.

- TRUST COBHAM

- get Winstanley & Stewart out ASAP. Way too many chefs in the kitchen. Give Joe Shields full responsibility - only guy who has earned it in my opinion.
