@tripperhead Worth noting. It was a 3.3% payrise for all CX employees and simultaneously after announcing this they increased the threshold in which pilots get paid beyond their basic salary. So in essence it was a net decrease overall, up to 8% on some fleets.

For the record, the "Cathay Pacific aircrew Christmas Cluster" was a BA.1 outbreak, and was cleared before the 5th wave. Both aircrew were fired and charged.

The 5th wave was was Omicron BA.2 DQH outbreak. No-one was fired or arrested for the 9k deaths that resulted.

Currently on day 3 quarantine at the infamous Ramada Harbour View Hotel. Honestly, better food and conditions in a prison......

The room temperature has been a consistent average 28c and with very little airflow whatsoever.

Called reception this evening to ask for a room change and was advised that all rooms are the same. 🙄 So here's my question - aren't all DQH rooms supposed to have a minimum airflow refresh rate? And at the very minimum be able to maintain a humane 24c temperature?!
