My 90 yr old dad was rushed into hospital with on going gallbladder issues. His pre op has been cancelled twice already. He has been moved bed 4 times, in the process losing his hearing aid charger, making it very difficult for him to hear properly, & causing extreme stress. It has now been found. But, every time he was moved he missed food order so was offered sandwiches. Better than nothing but not ok for several days. Friends have now brought in cooked food. He had an operation & they missed removing the main stone, but put in a stent. He will go back into surgery today or tomorrow to get that stone. I’m grateful for his medical treatment & the caring staff, but this is a man who’s still working at 90 contributing to society (still coaching swim kids), was a member of our armed forces, where he lost an eye, & never taken a handout, ever! Our NHS is utterly broken.

Was looking out over the churchyard & our little village green this morning, & felt an increasingly powerful rage, frustration & sorrow for the residents of Crowborough, Piddington, & no doubt, numerous other small towns & villages to come, including ourselves probably.

How can it POSSIBLY be right to intentionally upend people’s lives in this wanton & unbelievably risky fashion? No consultation. No discussion. No thought for the residents at all.

To be so outnumbered by over a thousand young men from places that are often hostile to women, gay people & other beliefs, is OBVIOUSLY going to have a devastating impact on people’s ordinary, everyday lives, safety & freedoms. That’s a no brainer… even if a flipping holiday camp was suddenly built on your doorstep, with zero notice, I bet most people would be utterly incandescent with fury.

Why is this cultural vandalism being imposed upon us, when anyone with a functioning brain could tell you these are utterly irresponsible, irrational & lunatic decisions. Of course, it’s going to change everything.

I can only conclude that these loathsome, cowardly, corrupt politicians actively hate our collective guts & are determined to finish life as we knew it only a short while ago. I’m looking DIRECTLY at you @andyburnham . Right into your eyes.

The Home Office is advertising for ‘a long-term transformation programme in the delivery of asylum support and accommodation services.’

Basically bringing all the existing contracts together.

They call it a 'transformative re-procurement'.

They are searching for suppliers who can do the following...

- Accommodation provision - ‘to meet the varied needs of asylum seekers’ and to support ‘community integration’.

- Accommodation management - to ensure a ‘safe, suitable, and responsive living environment for asylum seekers.’

- Transport - provide a 24/7/365 transportation service that is ‘timely’ with ‘professional drivers’.

- Sustenance - receive appropriate ‘cash’ and a ‘payment card’ is provided.

- Safety and Security - ensuring the ‘safety and security’ of the illegals.

- Audit and Assurance services - for inspections and reviews to identify areas ‘for improvement’.

- Service User Assistance - support ‘throughout their asylum journey’ ‘from initial application and arrival at accommodation to integration into the community’. Helping the illegals to ‘access’ local services.

- Wellbeing and Safeguarding - ‘specialist safeguarding staff’ 'must' be deployed.

The contract start date?

1st September 2029.

End date, 31st August 2036, with a ‘possible extension’ to 2039.

2039. Think about that.

The illegals are going to keep coming and coming, and our rotten establishment is planning to accommodate them until AT LEAST 2039.

I want to be really clear about what a Restore Britain Government will do.

Those politicians/officials who are signing off on these contracts will be investigated, and prosecuted/imprisoned where appropriate.

Today, there are new significant results from our deep strikes. In Russia’s Samara region, one of the key enterprises within Roscosmos – the Progress Center, which was involved, among other things, in electronics production – was hit. Flamingo missiles were used. A good achievement. The distance from our border is about 900 kilometers. Our long-range sanctions also reached the Savasleyka airbase, where the carriers of Russian missiles that strike our cities and villages are based – about 700 kilometers from Ukraine. We also have confirmation of the damage we were aiming to inflict at an oil facility in Ust-Luga – more than 800 kilometers from our border.

I am grateful to all the units involved for their accuracy. Our plan of long-range sanctions against Russia for this war is being implemented, and it is important that Russia’s war potential be reduced. Peace is needed, and this must be evident in Russia – through concrete damage to specific facilities. Glory to Ukraine!

British farmers are under immense pressure right now – and they need our full support.

This summer’s relentless heatwaves and drought have hit UK agriculture hard. Record temperatures and the driest July on record in England and Wales have left fields cracked and parched.

Harvests have come weeks early in many places, with cereal and oilseed yields looking set for one of the worst years since detailed records began in 1984.

Wheat, spring barley and oats are well down on the 10-year average – some farms reporting 15-50% lower yields – potentially costing arable producers hundreds of millions in lost revenue. Grass growth has stalled, milk production has dropped due to heat-stressed cows, and livestock are struggling in the extreme conditions. Root crops, fruit and potatoes are also at risk.

On top of that, the hot weather has fuelled a serious bluetongue outbreak. Cases of the virus (mainly BTV-3), spread by midges that thrive in these conditions, have climbed rapidly – hundreds confirmed across the UK, with the South West particularly hard hit. Sheep and cattle are suffering fever, swelling, lameness and worse; some farms have lost animals.

Farmers are being urged to stay vigilant, report symptoms and talk to their vets about vaccination.

It’s a perfect storm of extreme weather and disease, coming after previous tough seasons. Family farms are feeling the financial and emotional strain. These are the people who put food on our tables every day, often working around the clock in challenging conditions.

To every British farmer out there: we see you. We know how tough this is. Keep going – your resilience, skill and dedication keep this country fed. You’re not alone. The public is behind you, buying British where we can, and calling for the support you need to weather this. Hang in there. Better days and better seasons will come. We’ve got your back. 🇬🇧🌾

For the first time in its history, Russia cannot wage war without reinforcements from North Korea. It is now preparing to deploy an additional North Korean contingent on its territory. It has also received additional ballistic missiles from North Korea. Everyone around the world must understand what this means.

This is not only about the lives of people in Ukraine, and not only about the threats we face. North Korea’s ballistic missiles and other weapons are being improved through its collaboration with Russia. The more North Korean strikes there are here in Ukraine, in Europe, the more their missiles and soldiers are used, the more they correct their shortcomings and blind spots, the greater the danger will later be for Japan, the Republic of Korea, the Philippines, and other countries in the region.

That is why, when we speak about the need for joint action, for coordination and mutual support, when we speak about the need to help us strengthen our air defense, we are also, in fact, speaking about taking away North Korea’s appetite and any interest in coming here – to our land and into our skies – with its weapons in order to learn how to wage war. Everyone across the globe who respects human life must stand together in taking action to protect people.
