Moving from Sitecore XP to CDP/Personalize is inevitable and would be so worth it. Finding out a lot about it in the #SitecoreSYM today. Great talk with @SitecoreSinger.
@mindykaling was the highlight of the #SitecoreSYM this morning. Loved her approach to developing content and being authentic. As a south Asian myself, I fangirled hard.
Great #XMCloud talk at @pghsug today. Thanks for still being online for everyone to consume. Great work @akshaysura13 and @jammykam. Looking forward to the Symposium talk.
Great intro to Sitecore Discover. Headless, intent-focussed and multiple options to develop with it. The APIs look pretty solid. https://t.co/kOYMEyDql9
@RamseurANANT Are you thinking versioning or even tagging all the components on a page and ability to revert back to it, instead of going component to component?? I am drooling just thinking about it.
@iamandycohen That makes sense. Thanks. We wouldnβt be losing any backend functionality it seems like. Would be interesting to see if 3rd party integrations like Coveo function the same. I am not sure if they use the web DB at all
@iamandycohen#XMCloud question... Can you give us some examples of customizations from XP/XM would need to be re-factored or removed to move to XMCloud. I can't imagine custom fields and custom pipelines being that big of a deal. Or am I missing something here? #sitecore
Deadline for submitting talks to #sitecore#symposium is coming up in 4 days. Excited to have submitted a talk for this one. Has everyone submitted theirs?
Alright... it is my turn to share my #sitecore#certifications. Took me longer than I care to admit but here they are "Sitecore 10 .Net Developer Certification" and "Sitecore Content Hub Administrator Certification" under my belt. Learned a lot!!
After the Chicago #Sitecore meetup yesterday, I think #XMCloud will be a game changer. The ease with which we can get an environment set up.. wow #chicagosug
Great video on why composable and how you move to it. I imagine many customers are somewhere in the middle of the 2 examples here. And wholeheartedly agree with ditching old xDB data if possible.
