Just got an email from (Spotify? Ticketmaster? I already forget) reminding me that The National is playing near Boston on my 40th birthday. Looking forward to teasing my second kid about this someday.
I should probably have said comfortable temperature. The ideal (outdoor) temperature is 65 degrees. But anywhere from 50 to 80 is usually comfortable enough.
@IDoTheThinking Usually Manhattan, but it depends on the context. Sometimes it means all of NYC. Sometimes it means "Manhattan south of Central Park" or "Manhattan plus close-in bits of Brooklyn and Queens."
Green Line B Branch: Service between Packard's Corner and Boston College is standing by due to a balloon caught in the overhead wires near Washington Street. Shuttle Buses are being dispatched to accommodate passengers.
Another issue is that those giant screens all have ads and the departure screens are tiny and on columns at the side of the station. They could show departures on one of the giant screens! (Yes, I was stuck here yesterday.)
The Star Wars sequels are the perfect movies to watch on planes. Forgettable, unchallenging, entertaining enough. Watching them isn't a bad way to pass the time, but if you doze off, that's fine, too.
Star Wars prequels: meh
Star Wars sequels: hot garbage
Andor: AWESOME
House of the Dragon: decent
Legend of Korra: decent
Rings of Power: hot garbage
Star Trek: Discovery: meh
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds: AWESOME
What can we learn from these successes and failures?

Hey @MBTA why do you keep cancelling scheduled runs of the 73 bus? The route was included in your plan for frequent bus service but it often functionally runs every 25-30 minutes because so many runs get cancelled. Is this ever going to end?
