Parcel delivery firm DPD have replaced their customer service chat with an AI robot thing. It’s utterly useless at answering any queries, and when asked, it happily produced a poem about how terrible they are as a company. It also swore at me. 😂

Whenever a child asks if they can stroke her I thank them for asking and tell them it’s really important and appreciated that they did. My wee dog isn’t doing a job, so i usually say yes. Children ask way more than adults do, even wee ones.

@BlondeHistorian @Kika_GuideDog I adored Sheila Hocken’s books about Emma, her chocolate labrador guide dog. There were 3 or 4 books for adults, and one for children. This was back in the 80s. I’ve been absolutely fascinated and in awe of guide dogs & service dogs and their human/dog partnerships since!
