1. Apart from coconut milk, every other plant-based milk is a sham. It’s just inflammatory seed oil juice.
2. We’ve all been sold a lie. Saturated fat found in butter and red meat doesn’t cause heart attacks.
3. Stress is a major factor for health. Constantly stressing about the tiniest things for no reason is bad for you.
4. Your mental health is largely dictated by what you eat for an extended period of time.
5. When you drink water, you should optimize for trace minerals and drink to thirst, instead of having an arbitrary target.
6. You don’t have to fear salt and sodium. Just get natural sea salt (fleur de sel) and sprinkle on your food to taste.
7. Vegetables have their place in our diet. Herbs and spices for thousands of years have been used to heal & treat various diseases.
8. Fish oil is one of the biggest scams on the planet. It’s oxidized and you’re better off incorporating more seafood in your diet.
9. For longevity, you should always look at the ingredients list first instead of the macronutrient breakdown.
10. Artificial dyes in snacks and candies that children eat are a central driver in the rise of chronic mental illnesses.
11. Your light diet matters as much as what you eat and drink. Time your circadian rhythm well. Warm incandescents at night.
12. Microplastics are a silent ingredient in a lot of the foods we’re consuming. As much as possible, opt for stainless steel or glass.
13. Many “olive oils” are adulterated with cheaper oils like canola & rapeseed oils. Always make sure it says “100% Extra Virgin” on the label.
14. There is really no such thing as an “unhealthy food”. Anything that you can think of can be made with natural ingredients that are properly sourced.
15. Grains are perfectly fine to eat as long as you prepare them properly. Case in point: Oatmeal — soak in water and throw the liquid out after.
16. Fearing fruit and honey will do you no good. They are incredible sources of carbohydrates and various vitamins & minerals. Best consumed pre / post workout.
17. No, you do not need to avoid liquid calories to lead a healthy life. It all comes down to your personal choices. You can drink orange juice. You can have a glass of coconut water. They’re good for you.
18. The fancier the fonts on the packaging, the more likely it contains some kind of seed oil or undesirable ingredient.
19. Cooking sprays are a scam. They lie about being zero calorie, and they literally spray propellant on your food.
20. Raw, unpasteurized milk is the best option but lightly pasteurized milk is fine as well.
21. Goat’s milk is a great alternative to cow’s milk and is easier on the stomach, but some people can’t stomach the smell.
22. The longer you cook chicken thighs, the better they taste. With chicken breasts, there’s a small window of perfection.
23. Most people would be better without BS “multivitamins”. Go for an extensive blood panel and fill in the gaps with proper dietary choices & direct supplementation (Mg, Zinc, etc) wherever necessary.
24. Children deserve to eat the same foods adults do. Give them what you’re having, albeit in smaller portions. Take them out of their misery from Froot Loops.
25. Cereal is one of the worst things you can have to start your day. You’re far better off with some eggs, bacon or some sourdough with smoked salmon.
26. Eating liver every single day is unhealthy. Your copper-zinc ratio will go out of whack. 1-3x per week is more than plenty.
27. Chewing your food well helps prevent SIBO and leaky gut. Gobbling down huge chunks of food increases the chances of undigested food making it further down your digestive tract.
28. When you eat organic food, you’re just eating food that’s not been sprayed with fertilizers. They’re not intrinsically healthy because their organic. Every other rule applies.
